Allana competed with Australia in Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries forced her to go through a number of seasons without playing before switching to the Rugby League. Allana played in her first female rugby union match which was held in New South Wales in 2013 and she was the main focus of the match that was played against Queensland. Allana added radio to the game, and has frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a lot to offer, not just a professional athlete as well as a teacher who has a a degree in education and has a vast experience outside sport.
